tag, you're it!

Goood eveeenniiinnnnggg!! I wanted to post earlier today, but didn't have the time - booo. So, I'll be doing a double post tonight - who's up for a new recipe? :)
I had a nice surprise today - Sara over at My Fancy Tuna tagged me in a fun question game! I'll be answering her 8 questions during this post with my eats of the day weaved in and out. My next task is to tag 8 more people with new questions!
1. Who was your first celebrity crush/obsession? Okay, this is super embarassing. I loved Hanson when I was younger - Zac to be more specific. It was probably because he was around my age, and my sister wanted to marry Taylor (and would kill me if I stole her man - ha!). MMMMMBop, anyone?
oh yes mr. overnight oats blueberry parfait, you were absolutely amazing.

2. What was your favorite lunch to bring to school when you were little? I honestly loved hot lunch (which now makes me want to vomit) - my favorite was either chicken nuggets or pizza. When I did make a lunch to bring to school, I hated it. My mom made me be all healthy (go figure!) with her homemade bread. All I wanted was peanut butter n fluff on wonderbread.

"you are so beauitfull to meeee, can't you seeeeee?"

3. What cartoons did you watch as a kid? I loved so many!! Nickelodeon was my favorite though - I was a big fan of Rugrats, but I also really loved Nick Jr. even when I was about 10. It must have been because I was around little kids so much, but I loved the silly ones like Blue's Clues and Franklin. We were NOT allowed to watch Ren and Stimpy.

God love you peanut butter

4. What was the grossest thing you ate as a kid? Oh goodness - two things come to mind. My sister and I used to put slices of cheese on salami and microwave them until they were nice and crispy... and I think I just regurgitated my food. Another thing I did once was try and fit as many pixie stix into my mouth as I could (without wrappers obviously). I succeeded with over 50. Sugar high?

recipe to come...
5. What was your favorite Disney movie as a kid? I loved The Parent Trap! The one with Lindsay Lohan - I watched that movie every single night one summer, and no. I am not joking.

lunch - twas delicious!
6. What was your best Halloween costume? My junior year of college my bestie and I were Average Joe's from Dodgeball. We had the yellow shirts, red shorts, complete with dodgeballs. The dodgeballs got a little dangerous in the middle of the night though. College kids, parties, and dodgeballs do not mix well. I think I got hit in the head many times.

afternoon snack while running errands - i brought an apple too but it was horrible
7. What was your favorite cereal back in the day? I could have OD'ed on Cinnamon Toast Crunch - see, I didn't always eat well! :)

dinner #1 - potato bomb and broccoli

I love how broccoli is so GREEN!!!!

Well, Miss Sara - I only see 7 questions :)
It's now my turn to tag others and I chooooose: Allie, Amanda, Kelsey, the lovely Teenage Health Freak, Katie, Autumn, Megan, and Lauren!!

Okay girls, here are your questions:
  1. What is one thing you love about yourself?
  2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you go?
  3. If you were not working and your current profession (or going to school for your current major), what would you do and why?
  4. What is one food you could not live without?
  5. What is the weirdest dream you have ever had?
  6. Are you a half empty or half full kind of person?
  7. What is the best present you have ever received?
  8. What is your favorite season (if you have seasons where you live)?

Thanks for the fun idea Sara!

Be on the lookout for another post tonight - I just ate one of my delicious creations from earlier today. A recipe is soon coming!

I am off to go eat another dinner - that one didn't hold me over for very long considering I ran 7 miles today!!

  1. LOL. I obviously can't count. Oh well :)

I looooooooved Blue's Clues and Franklin!! I think it's because I had a younger sister. We weren't allowed to watch Ren and Stimpy either...I don't think I missed out on anything, though.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch is still my guilty pleasure. I could probably go through a box in one sitting.

  3. Aww! Thanks for the tag, girl! I'll definitely be answering your Q's when I think up some of my own to watch.

Omigosh. My childhood was like made up of Rugrats and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I remember waking up on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons and eat ridiculous amounts of cereal and milk. Good times.
